It has been a week since the tragic fate of the mother and son Gregorio at the hands of police officer Jonel Nuezca. After the incident, Nuezca calmly surrendered to the Tarlac precinct where he is now detained.
In an interview with Nuezca, he admitted that he regretted what he had done to the Gregorios and asked the authorities to give protection to his wife and daughter, who at that time were bashed and hated by everyone.
Nuezca's wife also apologized for what her husband has done. He also hope that his daughter would not be included in the issue because her daughter is already scared of what she reads on social media.
Meanwhile, the Gregorio mother and son were buried just this December 27, and the Gregorio family said that they have forgiven Nuezca's family. Even Jonel Nuezca was forgiven. However, they will continue to hold Jonel Nuezca responsible for what he did to their family members. They said that Mother Sonya and Frank would be happy if they would give forgiveness.
The Gregorio family also asked to stop blaming Nuezca's daughter because it was said that the parents were to blame for the reason why their daughter's mind grew crooked. They said that the lives of Mother Sonya and Frank will not be restored even if they continue blaming the Nuezca family.
Even though it's hard and painful for them to just forgive, if this is the way to alleviate the feeling of loneliness they will do it, so somehow they can move forward in a bad situation. They wished that the person in charge would focus on Nuezca's daughter so that she could be taught what is right and what is wrong.
They will continue to justify Mother Sonya and Frank and make sure Jonel Nuezca pays for what he did. Today, the Gregorio family is still receiving help from well-known personalities, and even ordinary people who want to alleviate the feeling of loneliness of the Gregorio family.
