Nagbigay ng bagong update si Kris Aquino tungkol sa kanyang kasalukuyang kalagayan. Pinasasalamatan niya ang mga taong nasa tabi niya sa mga oras na kinakailangan niya ng karamay. Isa na rito si Angel Locsin na nagbigay sa kanya ng suporta at sa kanyang mga anak na sina Josh at Bimby.
Maging ang mga anak ni Kris ay nagpacheck-up na rin. Si Josh ang panganay ay nagpaendostrophy at colonoscopy. Makikita sa larawan na malungkot si Josh habang tinitingnan ang ina habang ito'y ginagamot. Isa sa mga kinatatakutan ni Kris, kapag siya ay mawala sa mundo. Sino ang mag-aalaga sa dalawa niyang anak. Lalo na't isa sa kanyang anak ay may special na pangangailangan.

Liaa Cojuangco Bautista, and pretty ninang/ninay/cuz Rina Cojuangco Teopaco for taking turns staying with kuya Josh and me, Angel (Locsin) Arce, and the feeling doktora even though mommy nya is the real MD, who was scolding me for not pressing the pain reliever auto release button kasi ayokong maging dependent, "hindi ito test ng tapang" Anne Binay Alcantara.
Thursday March 10, the 3 of us were admitted for all preliminary tests.
Listed in chronological order is what was done March 11, 2022.
1. PET/CT scan:
I am so thankful our prayers are being heard by our Lord and Savior... Maraming Salamat for being our prayer warriors. From the PET/CT scans, Dr. Francis gave me the HAPPY NEWS, walang tumors, NO CANCER DETECTED.
2. Upper endoscopy:
Dr. Jonard Co's findings are erosive gastritis and gastric ulcer.
3. Bone marrow "aspiration" for biopsy done by Dr. Francis Lopez (for me, 1 of the most thorough doctors in the Philippines); para wag na tayong malito, kumuha po ng bone marrow fluid from my back pelvic bone. That sample is now being tested to RULED OUT a blood related disorder associated with my weight loss and my being anemic.
Mahirap akong maging pasyente, sa dami ng bawal sa'kin, salamat na lang at MAHUSAY si Dr. Henry Lu and his TEAM for pain management.
I won't lie to you, there's this parang nabugbog ng bongga feeling in my lower spine BUT apart from my medical limitations, halos wala na kasi akong fat to help "CUSHION" my bones... kaya EXAG ang sakit, skin then diretso sa buto. Process and hit or miss para makahanap ng okay na pwesto paghihiga at kung uupo.
I constantly remind myself:
To keep thanking God since my current pain is temporary. Malalagpasan rin kaya bawal umangal, maraming mas malala ang pinagdadaanan, at may hinihintay pang mga resulta kaya manahimik, magpasalamat at patuloy na magdasal.
A special THANK YOU to kuya josh's (he had his endoscopy and colonoscopy early Saturday morning by his gastroenterologist, Dr. Alexandra Laya) and my ANESTHESIOLOGIST, Dr. Jonnel Lim. He's a kind hearted, compassionate EXPERT- humble even if acknowledged as one of the best in his field. THANK YOU to Bimb's pediatrician Dr. Aye Nuguid. (He still also reviews all kuya's results)
Thank you to my cardiologist, who happens to be my cousin in law, Dr. Nick Cruz (husband of my manang Lisa Conjuangco). After reviewing my tests thoroughly, including my chest CT scan, he found my HEART to be in good shape and healthy working order... maganda ang ECG and 2D echo tests ko, and na confirm pa ng chest CT scan. No need in my having an angiogram done here or abroad. Mas delikado pa raw kung may allergy ako sa dye na gagamitin sa test. Mag-ingat lang daw dahil mabilis mag spike ang blood pressure ko pag may urticaria flare; when forced to endure physical pain; when I'm emotional, anxious, or stressed.
ALL the doctors taking care of me said different versions of this: PLEASE TRY TO EAT MORE, RELAX, BREATHE FRESH AIR, and ATTEMPT to start recreational walking. Since we re travelling to consult with more allergy, immunology, and hematology experts- they said to please make it a true HEALTH & WELLNESS TRIP. Iregalo ko raw sa sarili at sa mga anak ko.
