Rappler under Marcos Admin: We're not your enemies.

Patungkol ito sa viral news na ipinag-utos ng SEC o Securities and Exchange Commission na magsara na ang news online na ito.

Tila lumambot umano sa kanyang mga pahayag si Maria Ressa. Ngunit marami pa rin ang hindi sang-ayon sa naging pahayag ng Rappler CEO. 

Ayon sa isang vlogger na si Bryan Calagui,

Ito na lang, this is a scathing rebuttal of Ressa's supposition that free speech is under attack under PRD.

Despotic regimes would just close without due process. The mere fact that they are allowed to appeal pursuant to law is proof that what Ressa is saying is exaggerated to get international sympathy and yes, the undeserved Nobel Peace Prize.

Viral naman ngayon ang iba't-ibang influencers na nagbigay ng kani-kanilang opinyon hinggil sa pagpapasara sa Rappler. Ayon pa sa kanila, kahit anong appeal ang gagawin ni Maria Ressa dapat umanong hindi papayagan pang muling makapag-operate ang Rappler dahil mapanirang pagbabalita umano nito.
