Nabili ang Ms. Universe Organization ng isang Thai billioner at media mogul na si Anne Jakrajutatip. Kasama ring nabili nito ang dalawa pang USA based beauty pageant na Ms. USA at Ms. Teen USA sa halagang P851 million.
Matatandaang nauna ng naiulat noong September na ang premire beauty pageant na Ms. Universe ay ibinibinta sa halagang $20 million o nasa 1.1 billion pesos.
Noong 2015 nabili ni Emanuel ang buong Miss Universe pageant sa dating may-ari nito at noo’y presidential candidate na si Donald Trump.
Ayon sa aming nakalap na impormasyon, nitong myerkules, October 25, 2022 tuluyang nabili ng JKN Global Group Public Company Limited (JKN) ni Jakrajutatip ang pageant franchise sa halagang 550 million baht o nasa mahigit P851 million.
“The company plans to bring the Miss Universe brand to help strengthen the e-commerce business in various product groups both dietary supplements beverage products. Personal products such as skin care products, cosmetics, and lifestyle products to create growth for the said business group in the future as well,” anang Chakrapong Chakrajutathip, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director ng JKN Global Group Public Company Limited.
