Petisyon ni Vhong Navarro Laban Kay Sajed Fernandez Ibinasura!

Ibinasura ng Court of Appeals ang petisyon ni Vhong Navarro na muling buksan ang ibinasurang kasong grave coercion na isinampa niya laban kay Sajed Fernandez. Kaugnay sa pagkulong sa kanya sa condominium unit ng modelong si Deniece Cornejo sa Taguig noong 2014.

Ayon sa desisyon ng Court of Appeals, hindi sila pabor sa petisyon ni Navarro na kukukwestiyon sa naging desisyon ng Taguig Regional Trial Court na ibasura ang kasong isinampa niya laban kay Sajed Fernandez.

“Only the Office of the Solicitor General may represent the People of the Philippines on appeal. The private offended party or complainant may not take such appeal. It appears that the present petition, filed by Navarro through counsel… is without consent and authority given by the OSG,” ayon sa Court of Appeals.

Matatandaang noong 2014, inakusahan ni Vhong Navarro si Sajed Fernandez, kasama ang grupo ni Deniece Cornejo ng illegal detention sa condo unit ng modelo kung saan siya binugbog.
