Direktor ng Pelikulang Deleter Puring-Puri Si Nadine Lustre!

Nagpahayag ng kasiyahan ang direktor na si Mikhail Red dahil sa paghakot ng mga major awards ng kanyang horror film na "Deleter" sa 48th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

Ang psychological horror film ang nanalo ng pinakamaraming tropeo sa naganap na Gabi ng Parangal nitong December 27, 2022. Kabilang ang Best Picture, Best Actress para kay Nadine Lustre, ang bida sa pelikulang Deleter, Best Cinematography para kay Ian Guevarra, at Best Director para sa kay Mikhail Red.

Sa isang panayam nitong Biyernes December 30, inamin ni Mikhail Red na hindi niya inaasahan na magiging maganda ang standing ng kanyang pelikula sa Metro Manila Film Festival.

"And we're just really honored to have won all the prizes, the major prizes at the MMFF awards night. And now we are steadily growing at the box office. We are just very honored and grateful. We can't wait to continue sharing this film with Filipinos and maybe, eventually, even an international audience," pahayag ng Direktor.

Pinuri din ni Mikhail Red ang galing ng aktres na si Nadine Lustre sa pag pull-off sa mahirap at emotional taxing role. Ipinahayag ng direktor kung gaano kakomportableng ka-trabaho si Nadine.

"Nadine, when I met her, she told me she's a really big fan of horror films. She likes movies, she has taste in movies. It was so easy working with her because she's a very technical actress, she understands what I need as a filmmaker, and the process was smooth," pagbabahagi ni Mikhail.

"It's a very challenging role because when you think of good acting here in the Philippines or when you say best actress, sometimes the expectation is really high drama where you really project your lines and it's highly emotional. But in this film, she plays a very apathetic numb content moderator, so that's the challenge for her. She had to act with restraint and subtlety, and everything should just be seen in her body language and mannerisms and her eye movements," dagdag niya pa.
