Nilinaw na ni Miss Universe Organization owner Anne Jakrajutatip ng JKN Global Group ang tungkol sa bagong kontrobersiyang kinasasangkutan niya.
Matatandaan na diumano'y, kinansela ng Thai transgender woman billionaire ang mga kontrata ng franchise ng Miss Universe sa buong mundo dahil sa kanyang kagustuhan na magkaroon ng “open bidding “ para sa mga bagong franchise holder ng international beauty pageant na pag-aari niya.
Samantala noong sabado ay nilinaw na niya na tila isang misunderstanding lamang ang lahat.
“Seems something got lost in translation and information. The request of submission was meant to give voice and agency to the current directors. A way that they can speak truth to what they believe their business is worth."

Samantala, naglabas na ng official statement ang MALZ Promotions, ang may-hawak ng prangkisa ng Miss Universe Ghana. Sa nasabing statement tuluyan na nilang tinuldukan ang pakikibahagi sa Miss Universe Organization.
“The new and sudden implementation of the Miss Universe Organization Business Model under the JKN Global Group's leadership are not aligned with MALZ Promotions' brand objectives and would hence like to discontinue the relationship with Miss Universe."
