Naging mainit na usapin sa ilang mga entertainment sites ang naganap na 20th anniversary ni Sarah Geronimo na naganap noong May 12, 2023 sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Naging mainit ding usapin ang pagkawala ng G-Force Dance Corporation sa nasabing concert at biglaang pagbabago sa dance steps ng Tala.
May lumabas ding mga haka-hala na nagpapabayad umano si Teacher Goercelle para sa ginawang dance steps at nagbanta pang idemanda si Sarah sakaling gagamitin pa rin ito.
Samantala, isiniwalat na ng showbiz insider at talent manager na si Ogie Diaz ang nakuhang pahayag mula sa side ni Teacher Goercelle at ang paliwanag nito kung bakit wala sila sa nakaraang 20th anniversary concert ni Sarah Geronimo.
"Hindi daw nagkasundo kaya ayaw ipagamit ni Teacher Georcelle 'yung dance steps, 'yung choreo na mga ginawa for Sarah noon."
"Lumalabas pa sa Twitter na nabuwisit daw si Boss Vic. Parang may nagsabi pa na ang taas daw maningil kaya raw hindi na inaprubahan ni Boss Vic," pagsisiwalat ni Ogie Diaz.
"E may requirement pa si Sarah. Gusto niya maraming dancers. Ito naman ay nakarating lang sa amin, ewan ko kung true. Sabi naman nung kabila, nung GForce, gusto nila limited lang yung dancers.
"E gusto ni Sarah marami. Ang nagwagi raw sa dulo si Sarah kaya nawala sa eksena ang GForce kaya kumuha na lang ng dancers na mapo-provide siya ng maraming back up."
"Si Teacher Georcelle, sabi ha e parang nagbigay ng demand letter. If ever gamitin 'yung choreo, sa anumang awitin ni Sarah lalo na doon sa Tala, Php150,000 per choreo 'yung sisingilin nila. Kaya kung mapapansin niyo hindi masyadong ginamit 'yung ano ba 'yung mga steps," pagdedetalye pa ni Ogie Diaz sa mga haka-hakang narinig.
Dahil dito, minabuti ni Ogie Diaz na humingi ng pahayag mismo kay Teacher Goercelle upang masagot nito ang mga kumakalat na isyu sa pagitan nila ni Sarah Geronimo.
"We've been training her and G-Force have been dancing with her for 16 years. She's looking for growth as an artist and as a person. She wants to try other things. There were artistice differences ang I wanna support her as she embarks on this new chapter even if it means stepping out for a while."
"Mama Ogs, I did everything out of love and respect for her as an artist and a friend. (Parang love team kami for 16 years, but this year gusto niya to try other things) This process was painful for G-Force."
"Most of them cried, especially the choreographers who have been training hard to bring out the best in her. It's like a break up. SG wants something else, I want her to exercise that artistic freedom. But it's also my right to exercise my artistic freedom."
"I had to pull out two months ago in March Of Course my team will always understand and respect my decision. This is me encouraging SG to experience that creative freedom and to be the ultimate decision maker in producing and directing her 20th anniversary concert."
Nilinaw din ni TG na walang katotohan ang haka-hakang nagbigay siya ng demand letter sa mga producers ng concerrt ni Sarah Geronimo.
"Mama Ogs, OMG. Demand? Why will I demand? Wala ako sa position to demand for anything especially when no work is delivered but I can quote for the price of the use of my copyrighted works. I sent a personal letter not a demand letter. I did not demand. Not being a part of her 20th is my gift of freedom so she can fully express her creative dreams."
