MTRCB Naglabas Na Naman Ng Bagong Statement Kaugnay Sa It's Showtime! May Isiniwalat!

Sa isang panibagong statement na inilabas ng MTRCB na ipinalabas nitong September 5, 2023 hinggil sa suspension order na ipinataw nila sa noontime show na It's Showtime.

Isiniwalat din sa nasabing statement na hindi nakialam ang MTRCB chairperson sa pagdidesiyon sa parusa na ibibigay ng MTRCB sa It's Showtime.

Hindi umano bumoto si Lala Sotto sa nasabing usapin dahil may adjudication proceeding silang sinusunod.

Ito'y kasunod ng mga natatanggap nilang reklamo hinggil sa unfair trial na naganap sa It's Showtime dahil anak ng E.A.T host ang Chairperson ng MTRCB.

"The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) reassures the public that it will continue to uphold due process and fairness in the discharge of its regulatory mandate and quasi-judicial function, as provided by law."

Dagdag pa ng MTRCB, "In each adjudication proceeding, the Board ensures that respondents are accorded due process and exercise their right to a fair trial. Through the Agency’s Hearing and Adjudication Committee, respondents are given the opportunity to present their case and submit position papers, which are deliberated upon by the said Committee. After considering the merits of the case, the Committee recommends to the Board its final decision for affirmation."

Dahil dito naging nilinaw na sa mga netizens na wala talagang kinalaman si Lala Sotto sa pagkakasuspinde ng It's Showtime.

Gayunpaman, marami pa rin ang naniniwalang may kinalaman talaga si Lala Sotto sa nangyari sa It's Showtime at tinatago lamang ito ng nasabing ahensya upang matigil na ang isyu.

Sa ngayon ay naghain na nang appeal ang It's Showtime sa MTRCB dahil naninindigan silang wala silang ginawang pagkakamali.
