 Nagpahayag ng pagsuporta si Ogie Alcasid sa kanyang It’s Showtime co-host na si Vice Ganda sa gitna ng mga batikos na natatanggap ng huli mula sa mga netizens matapos ang desisyon nitong i-call out ang isang searchee ng EXpecially For You na si Axel.

Sa kanyang tweet, iginiit ni Ogie Alcasid na ang tanging hangarin ni Vice Ganda ay mapasaya ang mga tao, na sumalungat sa akusasyon ng ilang kritiko na ginagawang katatawanan ng komedyante ang mga ordinaryong tao.
